A habitual traveler using the Nakuru-Eldoret highway will notice changes along the route and especially around Salgaa area where local and multinational companies are setting up their base.

Vast level fields which were previously maize and wheat plantations have been transformed into a set of multibillion industries, a few already in operation while a handful others are under construction.

Devki’s Sh3 billion Nakuru facility (Simba Cement) has been  providing employment to over 900 people during it’s construction Phase and on completion will have a capacity to produce 750,000 tonnes of cement annually.

Mr Raval’s aim is to build cement factories close to Kenyans thereby ensuring ex-factory prices are kept at the most probable minimal cost,” he said.

After completion the facility will Employ over  500 employees.
